A Forever Kind of Love, Full of Color
Madison and Jake’s Rosemary Beach wedding was nothing short of fabulous! The New York couple set out to bring a little big-city energy to their beachside celebration, blending the vibrant spirit of NYC with the laid-back beauty of Rosemary Beach. “We live in NYC, so we wanted to infuse a bit of the energy of the city into our gorgeous beachside venue,” they shared. With that vision in mind, the couple embraced a palette of fuchsia, pink, purple, and orange, pairing bold, elaborate florals with lush greenery for a celebration that felt as colorful and energetic as the places they love most.
Their ceremony on Rosemary Beach’s Western Green was sweet and sentimental, with a special moment that made the day even more meaningful. After the ceremony, guests shared that two cardinals had been chirping nearby throughout their vows, flying away just after the couple said “I do.” Madison and Jake hadn’t noticed, too focused on each other in the moment, but they knew exactly what it meant. With both of their fathers having passed away, the cardinals felt like a sign that their dads were there with them, sharing in a moment they wouldn’t have missed for anything.
Planned by 30A to Wed, the celebration continued with a reception that brought the couple’s colorful vision to life. Designed to feel joyful and anything but traditional, the tent was filled with comfortable lounge seating, decorative pillows in the wedding palette, and personal touches throughout. Florals by the Sea transformed the space with abundant arrangements in shades of pink, orange, and purple, bringing color to nearly every corner, from the tables to the dance floor. The couple’s custom crest appeared throughout the design, including on the dance floor and bar, with artwork thoughtfully coordinated to complement their invitations. Every detail felt intentional, just as Madison had envisioned.
“We did not want a ‘traditional’ look and feel, so everything was chosen with intention,” Madison shared. “We wanted everything to feel full of joy.”
The Coluccis also wanted to make the most of their time with loved ones, so they opted for a strolling dinner by Townsend Catering. Guests enjoyed a generous spread of seafood, including oysters, sushi, and chilled crab, before moving on to a dessert display featuring a homemade assortment of treats from the bride’s family. No sweet ending would have been complete without the couple’s custom wedding cake by Sweet Henrietta’s.
And if the goal was to create a celebration full of joy, Madison and Jake certainly delivered. As the evening went on, the dance floor came alive with smoke machines, Lorena Coello on electric violin, Jorge Ylisastigui on saxophone, and DJ Brian B keeping the party going. The open bar served two signature cocktails chosen by the couple: espresso martinis and limoncello spritzes. By the end of the night, the celebration was in full swing, and the Coluccis shared that not a single guest remained seated. Everyone was on the dance floor, celebrating well into the night.
